Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle
Capítulo 7, Página 13
"Then
let's
turn
our
dinner
into
a
supper
and
follow
this
clue
while
it's
fresh."
"By
all
means."
It
was
a
cold
night,
so
we
put
on
our
coats
and
wrapped
scarves
around
our
necks.
Outside,
the
stars
shone
brightly
in
the
clear
sky,
and
people's
breath
looked
like
smoke.
Our
footsteps
echoed
as
we
walked
through
the
doctors’
quarter,
Wimpole
Street,
Harley
Street,
and
then
through
Wigmore
Street
into
Oxford
Street.
In
fifteen
minutes,
we
reached
Bloomsbury
at
the
Alpha
Inn,
a
small
pub
at
the
corner
of
a
street
leading
to
Holborn.
Holmes
opened
the
door
of
the
private
bar
and
ordered
two
beers
from
the
cheerful,
apron-wearing
landlord.
"Your
beer
must
be
great
if
your
geese
are
as
good,"
he
said.
"My
geese!"
The
man
looked
surprised.
"Yes.
I
spoke
to
Mr.
Henry
Baker
half
an
hour
ago.
He
is
in
your
goose
club."
"Ah!
yes,
I
see.
But
those
aren't
our
geese."
"Really?
Whose
are
they?"
