Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes
The Red-Headed League
Capítulo 2, Página 1
One
day
last
autumn,
I
visited
my
friend,
Mr.
Sherlock
Holmes,
and
found
him
deep
in
conversation
with
an
elderly
man
who
had
a
stout
build
and
a
bright
red
face.
After
apologizing
for
interrupting,
I
was
about
to
leave
when
Holmes
quickly
pulled
me
into
the
room
and
shut
the
door
behind
me.
"You
couldn't
have
come
at
a
better
time,
my
dear
Watson,"
he
said
warmly.
"I
was
worried
you
were
busy."
"I
am.
Very
much
so."
"Then
I
can
wait
in
the
next
room."
"No
need.
This
gentleman,
Mr.
Wilson,
has
been
my
partner
and
helper
in
many
successful
cases,
and
I’m
sure
he
will
be
very
useful
in
yours
too."
The
stout
gentleman
half
stood
from
his
chair
and
gave
a
nod
of
greeting,
casting
a
quick,
questioning
glance
from
his
small,
round
eyes.
"Try
the
settee,"
said
Holmes,
settling
back
into
his
armchair
and
putting
his
fingertips
together,
as
he
often
did
when
thinking.
"I
know,
my
dear
Watson,
that
you
love
all
things
bizarre
and
outside
the
ordinary
routine.
You’ve
shown
your
enthusiasm
by
chronicling
and,
if
I
may
say
so,
embellishing
many
of
my
adventures."
