Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 15, Página 3
He
went
back
to
the
ferry
landing.
No
one
was
there.
He
got
on
the
boat.
The
watchman
was
asleep.
He
untied
the
small
boat
and
rowed
upstream.
He
crossed
the
river
and
reached
the
other
side.
He
thought
about
keeping
the
boat
but
knew
it
was
risky.
So
he
left
it
and
went
into
the
woods.
He
sat
down
and
rested.
He
tried
to
stay
awake.
Then
he
started
walking
home.
The
night
was
almost
over.
It
was
morning
when
he
reached
the
island
bar.
He
rested
until
the
sun
was
up.
The
river
looked
bright
and
shiny.
Then
he
jumped
into
the
water.
Soon,
he
stood
wet
at
the
camp
door
and
heard
Joe
say:
"No,
Tom
is
true,
Huck.
He
will
come
back.
He
won't
leave
us.
He
knows
pirates
don't
leave.
Tom
is
too
proud
to
do
that.
He
is
doing
something.
I
wonder
what?"
"Well,
the
things
are
ours,
right?"
"Almost,
but
not
yet,
Huck.
The
note
says
they
are
ours
if
he
is
not
back
for
breakfast."
"But
he
is!"
shouted
Tom,
walking
proudly
into
camp.
They
soon
had
a
big
breakfast
of
bacon
and
fish.
The
boys
ate,
and
Tom
told
his
story.
He
made
it
sound
exciting.
They
felt
like
heroes
when
he
finished.
Then
Tom
went
to
a
shady
spot
to
sleep
until
noon.
The
other
pirates
got
ready
to
fish
and
explore.
