Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 6, Página 17
After
some
time,
the
class
stopped
looking
at
Tom.
The
room
was
noisy
again.
Tom
looked
at
the
girl.
She
saw
him
and
made
a
face.
She
turned
away
for
a
minute.
When
she
looked
again,
a
peach
was
on
her
desk.
She
pushed
it
away.
Tom
put
it
back.
She
pushed
it
again,
but
not
hard.
Tom
put
it
back
again.
She
left
it
there.
Tom
wrote
on
his
slate,
“Please
take
it—I
have
more.”
The
girl
saw
the
words
but
said
nothing.
Tom
started
to
draw.
He
hid
his
work
with
his
hand.
The
girl
did
not
look
at
first.
But
soon,
she
wanted
to
see.
Tom
kept
drawing.
The
girl
tried
to
look.
Tom
acted
like
he
did
not
see
her.
Finally,
she
whispered:
“Let
me
see
it.”
Tom
showed
a
picture
of
a
house.
It
had
smoke
from
the
chimney.
The
girl
liked
it.
She
forgot
everything
else.
When
Tom
finished,
she
whispered:
“It’s
nice—draw
a
man.”
Tom
drew
a
man
in
the
yard.
The
man
was
big.
The
girl
liked
it
and
whispered:
“It’s
a
beautiful
man—now
draw
me.”
Tom
drew
a
girl.
She
had
a
big
fan.
The
girl
said:
“It’s
so
nice—I
wish
I
could
draw.”
