Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 13, Página 2
“Tom
Sawyer,
the
Black
Avenger
of
the
Spanish
Main.
Name
your
names.”
“Huck
Finn
the
Red-Handed,
and
Joe
Harper
the
Terror
of
the
Seas.”
Tom
made
up
these
names
from
his
favorite
books.
“’Tis
well.
Give
the
countersign.”
Two
voices
whispered
the
same
word
to
the
night:
“Blood!”
Tom
dropped
the
ham
over
the
hill
and
climbed
down
after
it.
He
cut
his
skin
and
clothes
a
bit.
There
was
an
easier
path,

Joe,
the
Terror
of
the
Seas,
brought
bacon.
He
was

from
carrying

Huck,
the
Red-Handed,
stole
a
skillet
and
some
tobacco.
He
also
brought
corn-cobs
for
pipes.
But
only
Huck
smoked.
Tom,
the
Black
Avenger,
said
they
needed
a
fire.
Matches
were
rare
then.
They
saw
a
fire
on
a
big
raft
nearby.
They
quietly
took
some
fire.
They
acted
like
it
was
a
big
adventure,
saying
“Hist!”
and
moving
like
they
had
daggers.
They
gave
secret
orders.
They
knew
the
raftsmen
were
in
the
village,
but
they
still
acted
like
real
pirates.
They
pushed
off,
with
Tom
in
charge.
Huck
took
the
back
oar,
and
Joe
took
the
front.
Tom
stood
in
the
middle,
looking
serious.
He
gave
orders
in
a
quiet
voice:
