Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 4, Página 4
So
he
put
on
the
shoes,
grumbling.
Mary
got
ready,
and
the
three
children
went
to
Sunday-school.
Tom
hated
it,
but
Sid
and
Mary
liked
it.
Sunday-school
was
from
nine
to
ten-thirty,
then
church.
Two
kids
stayed
for
the
sermon
because
they
wanted
to,
and
the
other
stayed
too
for
other
reasons.
The
church
had
hard
wooden
seats
for
about
three
hundred
people.
It
was
a
small,
simple
building
with
a
wooden
tower.
At
the
door,
Tom
stepped
back
and
talked
to
a
friend:
“Hey,
Billy,
got
a
yellow
ticket?”
“Yes.”
“What’ll
you
take
for
it?”
“What’ll
you
give?”
“A
piece
of
licorice
and
a
fish-hook.”
“Let’s
see
them.”
