Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 1, Página 13
"I
dare
you
to
cross
that
line,
and
I'll
beat
you
up.
Anyone
who
takes
a
dare
is
a
thief."
The
new
boy
stepped
over
and
said:
"You
said
you'd
do
it,
so
let's
see."
"Don't
push
me
now;
you
better
watch
out."
"You
said
you'd
do
it—why
don't
you?"
"For
two
cents,
I
will."
The
new
boy
took
out
two
coins
and
held
them
out,
mocking
Tom.
Tom
knocked
them
to
the
ground.
In
an
instant,
they
were
rolling
and
fighting
in
the
dirt,
grabbing
each
other's
hair
and
clothes,
punching
and
scratching.
Soon,
Tom
was
on
top
of
the
new
boy,
hitting
him.
"Say
'enough!'"
he
said.
The
boy
struggled
to
get
free,
crying
mostly
from
anger.
