ever.

him

with

treatment.

aunt.

she

about
Pain-killer
for

time.
She
ordered

lot.

tasted
it
and
felt
hopeful.

was

fire
in
liquid
form.
She
stopped
everything
else
and
trusted
Pain-killer.
She
gave
Tom
a
teaspoonful
and
watched
him
closely.
Her
worries
disappeared
because
Tom's
indifference
was
gone.
He
reacted
as
if
she
had
set
him
on
fire.
Tom
realized

needed
to
change
things.
His
life
was
becoming
too
chaotic.
So,
he
decided
to
pretend
he
liked
Pain-killer.
He
asked
for
it
so
much
that
he
became
annoying,
and
his
aunt
told
him
to

it
himself.

she
would
have
been
happy,

watched
the
bottle
secretly.
She
saw

medicine
was
disappearing,

didn't
realize
Tom
was
pouring
it
into

crack
in
the
floor.
One
day,
Tom
was
pouring
the
medicine

aunt's
yellow
cat
came
by,
purring
and
looking
at
the
teaspoon.
The
cat
seemed
to
want

taste.
Tom
said:
"Don't
ask
for
it
unless
you
really
want
it,
Peter."
But
Peter
