Peter
was
sure.
"Now
you've
asked
for
it,
so
I'll
give
it
to
you.
But
if
you
don't
like
it,
don't
blame
anyone
but
yourself."
Peter
agreed.
So
Tom
opened
his
mouth
and
poured
in
the
Pain-killer.
Peter
jumped
high
in
the
air,
then
ran
around
the
room,
hitting
furniture
and
knocking
over
flower-pots.
He
seemed
to
enjoy
it,
running
on
his
hind
legs
and
making
a
lot
of
noise.
Then
he
ran
around
the
house
again,
causing
chaos.
Aunt
Polly
came
in
just
in
time
to
see
him
do
some
flips
and
jump
out
the
window,
taking
more
flower-pots
with
him.
She
stood
there
shocked,
looking
over
her
glasses;
Tom
was
on
the
floor,
laughing
hard.
"Tom,
what's
wrong
with
that
cat?"
"I
don't
know,
aunt,"
Tom
said,
trying
to
catch
his
breath.
"I've
never
seen
anything
like
it.
What
made
him
act
like
that?"
"I
really
don't
know,
Aunt
Polly.
Cats
act
like
that
when
they're
having
fun."
