Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 17, Página 3
And
they
did.
The
song
Old
Hundred
rose
triumphantly,
shaking
the
rafters,
and
Tom
Sawyer
the
Pirate
looked
around
at
the
envious
kids
around
him,
admitting
to
himself
that
this
was
the
proudest
moment
of
his
life.
As
the
fooled
congregation
left,
they
said
they
would
almost
be
willing
to
be
tricked
again
just
to
hear
Old
Hundred
sung
like
that
once
more.
Tom
received
more
slaps
and
kisses
that
day—depending
on
Aunt
Polly’s
changing
moods—than
he
had
ever
gotten
before
in
a
year;
and
he
wasn’t
sure
which
showed
more
thankfulness
to
God
and
affection
for
him.
