Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 6, Página 20
"No,
I
won't
tell
anyone.
Now
let
me
see."
"Oh,
you
don't
want
to
see!"
"Now
that
you're
being
like
this,
I
will
see."
She
put
her
small
hand
on
his,
and
they
playfully
struggled
until
the
words
were
revealed:
"I
love
you."
"Oh,
you
naughty
thing!"
she
said,
giving
his
hand
a
light
slap
but
looking
pleased.
Just
then,
Tom
felt
a
firm
grip
on
his
ear
and
was
pulled
back
to
his
seat.
The
whole
class
giggled
as
he
was
led
across
the
room.
The
teacher
stood
over
him
for
a
few
tense
moments,
then
returned
to
his
desk
without
a
word.
Tom's
ear
stung,
but
his
heart
was
happy.
As
the
class
settled
down,
Tom
tried
hard
to
study,
but
he
was
too
distracted.
In
the
reading
class,
he
messed
up;
in
geography,
he
mixed
up
lakes,
mountains,
and
rivers.
Finally,
in
the
spelling
class,
he
failed
on
simple
words
and
ended
up
at
the
bottom
of
the
class,
losing
the
medal
he
had
proudly
worn
for
months.
