El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 2, Página 3
“No,
he
doesn’t,”
said
Tom.
“Maybe
I’ll
sell
it
somewhere
else.”
“I
didn’t
mean
that,”
said
Wilson
quickly.
“I
just
meant—”
His
voice
stopped.
Tom
looked
around
the
garage.
Then,
I
heard
footsteps.
A
woman
came
to
the
door.
She
was
in
her
thirties.
She
was
a
bit
heavy,
but
she
moved
nicely.
She
wore
a
blue
dress.
She
smiled
and
shook
hands
with
Tom.
She
spoke
to
her
husband:
“Get
some
chairs,
so
people
can
sit.”
“Oh,
sure,”
said
Wilson.
He
went
to
get
chairs.
Dust
covered
his
suit
and
hair.
His
wife
stood
close
to
Tom.
“I
want
to
see
you,”
Tom
said.
“Get
on
the
next
train.”
