El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 2, Página 2
I
followed
him
over
a
fence.
We
walked
under
Doctor
Eckleburg’s
eyes.
We
saw
a
small
yellow
building.
It
was
near
the
waste
land.
There
were
three
shops.
One
was
for
rent.
One
was
a
restaurant.
The
last
was
a
garage.
It
said,
“Repairs.
George
B.
Wilson.
Cars
bought
and
sold.”
I
went
inside
with
Tom.
The
garage
was
empty
and
dusty.
A
broken
car
was
in
a
corner.
I
thought
there
might
be
nice
rooms
upstairs.
Then,
a
man
came
out.
He
was
the
owner.
He
was
a
blond
man
and
looked
tired.
He
saw
us
and
looked
hopeful.
“Hello,
Wilson,”
said
Tom.
He
slapped
the
man’s
shoulder.
“How’s
business?”
“I
can’t
complain,”
said
Wilson.
“When
will
you
sell
me
that
car?”
“Next
week.
My
man
is
working
on
it.”
“He
works
slow,
doesn’t
he?”
