El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 5, Página 26
Outside,
the
wind
was
loud
and
thunder
rumbled.
Lights
were
coming
on
in
West
Egg;
trains
were
taking
people
home
from
New
York.
It
was
a
time
of
change,
and
excitement
was
in
the
air.
“One
thing’s
sure
and
nothing’s
surer
The
rich
get
richer
and
the
poor
get—children.
In
the
meantime,
In
between
time—”
As
I
went
to
say
goodbye,
I
saw
Gatsby
looked
confused,
like
he
doubted
his
happiness.
Almost
five
years!
There
must
have
been
moments
that
day
when
Daisy
wasn’t
what
he
dreamed—not
her
fault,
but
because
his
dreams
were
so
big.
He
had
put
so
much
into
them,
adding
more
and
more.
No
reality
could
match
what
a
man
dreams
in
his
heart.
