El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 5, Página 27
As
I
watched,
he
adjusted
himself
a
little.
He
took
her
hand,
and
as
she
spoke
softly
to
him,
he
turned
to
her
with
emotion.
I
think
her
voice
held
him
most,
with
its
warmth,
because
it
couldn’t
be
over-dreamed—that
voice
was
like
a
song.
They
forgot
me,
but
Daisy
looked
up
and
reached
for
my
hand.
Gatsby
did
not
know
me
now.
I
looked
at
them
again,
and
they
looked
back
at
me.
They
seemed
far
away,
full
of
intense
life.
Then
I
left
the
room
and
walked
down
the
marble
steps
into
the
rain,
leaving
them
together.
