El Gran Gatsby
Capítulo 5, Página 27
As
I
watched,
he
adjusted
a
little.
He
held
her
hand,
and
when
she
whispered
something
in
his
ear,
he
turned
to
her
with
emotion.
I
think
her
voice
held
him
most,
with
its
warm,
changing
tone,
because
it
couldn’t
be
over-dreamed—it
was
like
an
everlasting
song.
They
had
forgotten
me,
but
Daisy
looked
up
and
reached
out
her
hand.
Gatsby
seemed
not
to
recognize
me
anymore.
I
glanced
at
them
again,
and
they
stared
back,
deeply
absorbed
in
their
own
world.
Then
I
left
the
room,
walked
down
the
marble
steps
into
the
rain,
leaving
them
together.
