El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 11, Página 12
"Oz
has
sent
for
you.
Follow
me."
The
Tin
Woodman
followed
him
to
the
great
Throne
Room.
He
did
not
know
if
Oz
was
a
lovely
Lady
or
a
Head,
but
he
hoped
for
the
lovely
Lady.
"If
it
is
the
head,
I
will
not
get
a
heart,
since
a
head
has
no
heart.
But
if
it
is
the
lovely
Lady,
I
will
ask
for
a
heart,
for
ladies
are
kind."
But
when
the
Woodman
entered
the
Throne
Room,
he
saw
neither
the
Head
nor
the
Lady.
Oz
was
a
terrible
Beast.
It
was
as
big
as
an
elephant,
and
the
green
throne
seemed
weak
under
it.
The
Beast
had
a
head
like
a
rhinoceros
but
five
eyes.
It
had
five
long
arms
and
five
long
legs.
Thick,
woolly
hair
covered
it.
It
was
a
dreadful
monster.
The
Tin
Woodman
had
no
heart,
so
he
was
not
afraid,
but
he
was
disappointed.
"I
am
Oz,
the
Great
and
Terrible,"
said
the
Beast,
in
a
loud
voice.
"Who
are
you,
and
why
do
you
seek
me?"
"I
am
a
Woodman,
made
of
tin.
I
have
no
heart
and
cannot
love.
I
ask
you
to
give
me
a
heart
so
I
can
be
like
other
men."
"Why
should
I
do
this?"
asked
the
Beast.
