Oz
growled
but

earn
it."

asked

Woodman.
"Help
Dorothy
kill
the
Wicked
Witch
of
the
West,"
said
the
Beast.
"When
the
Witch
is
dead,
come
to
me.
I
will
give
you
the
biggest
and
kindest
heart
in
all
the
Land
of
Oz."
The
Tin
Woodman
went
back
to
his
friends
sadly
and
told
them
about
the
terrible
Beast.
They
were
amazed
at
the
many
forms
the
Great
Wizard
could
take.
The
Lion
said:
"If
he
is
a
Beast
when
I
see
him,
I
will
roar
loudly
and
scare
him.
He
will
give
us
what
we
want.
If
he
is
the
lovely
Lady,
I
will
pretend
to
jump
on
her
and
make
her
do
what
I
want.
If
he
is
the
great
Head,
I
will
roll
it
around
the
room
until
he
promises
to
give
us
what
we
want.
Be
happy,
my
friends.
All
will
be
well."
