El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 6, Página 8
They
started
walking
again.
The
Lion
walked
next
to
Dorothy.
Toto
did
not
like
the
Lion
at
first.
He
remembered
the
Lion's
big
jaws.
But
soon,
Toto
and
the
Lion
became
friends.
That
day,
nothing
else
happened.
The
Tin
Woodman
stepped
on
a
beetle
and
killed
it.
He
was
sad
because
he
did
not
want
to
hurt
anything.
He
cried,
and
his
tears
rusted
his
jaw.
He
could
not
open
his
mouth.
He
was
scared.
He
made
signs
to
Dorothy,
but
she
did
not
understand.
The
Scarecrow
took
the
oil-can
and
oiled
the
Woodman's
jaw.
Soon,
he
could
talk
again.
"I
must
look
where
I
step,"
he
said.
"If
I
cry
again,
my
jaw
will
rust."
He
walked
carefully
and
stepped
over
ants.
He
did
not
want
to
hurt
them.
He
had
no
heart,
so
he
tried
to
be
kind.
"You
have
hearts
to
guide
you,"
he
said.
"I
must
be
careful.
When
Oz
gives
me
a
heart,
I
will
not
worry
so
much."
