El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 8, Página 2
“I
will
not
get
a
heart,”
said
the
Tin
Woodman.
“I
will
not
go
back
to
Kansas,”
said
Dorothy.
“We
must
get
to
the
Emerald
City,”
said
the
Scarecrow.
He
pushed
hard
with
his
pole.
It
stuck
in
the
mud.
He
could
not
pull
it
out.
The
raft
moved
away.
The
Scarecrow
held
onto
the
pole
in
the
river.
“Good-bye!”
he
called.
They
felt
sad
to
leave
him.
The
Tin
Woodman
cried
but
stopped.
He
did
not
want
to
rust.
He
dried
his
tears
on
Dorothy’s
apron.
This
was
bad
for
the
Scarecrow.
“I
am
worse
now,”
he
thought.
“I
was
on
a
pole
in
a
cornfield
before.
Now
I
am
on
a
pole
in
the
river.
I
may
never
get
brains!”
