El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 12, Página 14
“I’m
very
sorry,”
said
Dorothy.
She
was
scared
to
see
the
Witch
melting
like
sugar.
“Didn’t
you
know
water
would
end
me?”
asked
the
Witch,
her
voice
sad.
“Of
course
not,”
said
Dorothy.
“How
could
I
know?”
“Soon
I
will
be
all
melted,
and
you
will
have
the
castle.
I
was
wicked,
but
I
never
thought
you
could
melt
me.
Look
out—here
I
go!”
The
Witch
fell
down
and
melted
into
a
brown
mess
on
the
floor.
Dorothy
saw
she
was
gone.
She
got
more
water
and
washed
the
mess
away.
She
picked
up
the
silver
shoe,
cleaned
it,
and
put
it
on.
Now
free,
she
ran
to
tell
the
Lion
that
the
Wicked
Witch
of
the
West
was
gone,
and
they
were
no
longer
prisoners.
