El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 13, Página 1
The
Cowardly
Lion
was
very
happy
to
hear
that
the
Wicked
Witch
was
melted
by
water.
Dorothy
quickly
unlocked
his
gate
and
set
him
free.
Together,
they
went
into
the
castle.
Dorothy
called
all
the
Winkies
and
told
them
they
were
no
longer
slaves.
The
yellow
Winkies
were
very
happy.
They
had
worked
hard
for
many
years
for
the
Wicked
Witch,
who
was
always
cruel
to
them.
They
kept
this
day
as
a
holiday,
and
they
spent
the
time
eating
and
dancing.
“If
our
friends,
the
Scarecrow
and
the
Tin
Woodman,
were
with
us,”
said
the
Lion,
“I
would
be
very
happy.”
“Do
you
think
we
can
save
them?”
asked
Dorothy
anxiously.
“We
can
try,”
answered
the
Lion.
They
asked
the
yellow
Winkies
if
they
would
help
save
their
friends.
The
Winkies
were
happy
to
help
Dorothy,
who
set
them
free.
Dorothy
chose
some
Winkies
who
looked
smart,
and
they
all
set
off.
They
traveled
that
day
and
part
of
the
next
until
they
reached
the
rocky
place
where
the
Tin
Woodman
lay,
bent
and
broken.
His
axe
was
near
him,
but
the
blade
was
rusty,
and
the
handle
was
broken.
