El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 12, Página 9
“We
will
do
as
you
say,”
said
the
leader.
Then,
with
much
noise,
the
Winged
Monkeys
flew
to
where
Dorothy
and
her
friends
were
walking.
Some
Monkeys
grabbed
the
Tin
Woodman.
They
carried
him
over
sharp
rocks.
They
dropped
him,
and
he
lay
broken
and
unable
to
move.
Other
Monkeys
caught
the
Scarecrow.
They
pulled
all
the
straw
out
of
him.
They
made
his
clothes
into
a
bundle
and
threw
it
into
a
tall
tree.
The
rest
of
the
Monkeys
tied
the
Lion
with
ropes.
They
wrapped
him
so
he
could
not
move.
Then
they
flew
him
to
the
Witch’s
castle.
They
put
him
in
a
yard
with
a
high
iron
fence
so
he
could
not
escape.
But
they
did
not
harm
Dorothy.
She
stood
with
Toto
in
her
arms,
watching
her
friends.
She
thought
it
would
soon
be
her
turn.
The
leader
of
the
Monkeys
flew
to
her.
His
arms
stretched
out,
and
his
face
grinned
terribly.
But
he
saw
the
mark
of
the
Good
Witch’s
kiss
on
her
forehead
and
stopped.
He
told
the
others
not
to
touch
her.
“We
cannot
harm
this
girl,”
he
said.
“She
is
protected
by
the
Power
of
Good,
which
is
stronger
than
the
Power
of
Evil.
We
can
only
take
her
to
the
Witch’s
castle.”
