El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 17, Página 1
For
three
days,
Dorothy
heard
nothing
from
Oz.
These
were
sad
days
for
her,
even
though
her
friends
were
happy.
The
Scarecrow
said
he
had
wonderful
thoughts
in
his
head,
but
he
did
not
share
them
because
only
he
could
understand.
The
Tin
Woodman
felt
his
heart
move
inside
him,
and
he
told
Dorothy
it
was
kinder
than
his
old
heart.
The
Lion
said
he
feared
nothing
and
would
face
an
army
or
fierce
creatures.
So,
everyone
was
happy
except
Dorothy,
who
wanted
to
go
back
to
Kansas
more
than
ever.
On
the
fourth
day,
Oz
sent
for
her,
and
she
was
very
happy.
When
she
entered
the
Throne
Room,
he
greeted
her
with
a
smile.
“Sit
down,
my
dear;
I
think
I
found
a
way
to
get
you
out
of
this
country.”
“And
back
to
Kansas?”
she
asked
eagerly.
“Well,
I’m
not
sure
about
Kansas,”
said
Oz,
“because
I
don’t
know
where
it
is.
But
first,
we
must
cross
the
desert.
After
that,
it
should
be
easy
to
find
your
way
home.”
