El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 3, Página 3
Toward
evening,
Dorothy
was
tired
from
walking.
She
wondered
where
to
stay
for
the
night.
She
came
to
a
larger
house.
On
the
green
lawn,
many
people
were
dancing.
Five
little
fiddlers
played
loudly.
People
laughed,
sang,
and
a
big
table
was
full
of
food.
The
people
greeted
Dorothy
kindly.
They
invited
her
to
supper
and
to
stay
the
night.
This
was
the
home
of
a
rich
Munchkin.
His
friends
celebrated
their
freedom
from
the
Wicked
Witch.
Dorothy
ate
a
big
supper.
The
rich
Munchkin,
Boq,
served
her.
Then
she
sat
and
watched
the
people
dance.
Boq
saw
her
silver
shoes
and
said,
“You
must
be
a
great
sorceress.”
“Why?”
asked
Dorothy.
“You
wear
silver
shoes
and
killed
the
Wicked
Witch.
You
have
white
in
your
dress.
Only
witches
and
sorceresses
wear
white.”
