El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 4, Página 4
“‘This
fellow
will
scare
the
crows,’
said
the
farmer.
‘He
looks
like
a
man.’
“‘Why,
he
is
a
man,’
said
the
other.
I
agreed.
The
farmer
carried
me
to
the
cornfield
and
put
me
on
a
tall
stick.
That’s
where
you
found
me.
He
and
his
friend
left
me
alone.
“I
didn’t
like
being
left.
I
tried
to
walk
after
them,
but
my
feet
didn’t
touch
the
ground.
I
stayed
on
the
pole.
It
was
lonely
because
I
had
nothing
to
think
about.
Crows
and
birds
flew
into
the
field,
but
they
flew
away
when
they
saw
me.
They
thought
I
was
a
Munchkin,
and
this
made
me
feel
important.
An
old
crow
flew
near
me
and
said:
“‘Did
the
farmer
think
he
could
fool
me?
Any
crow
can
see
you
are
just
straw.’
Then
he
hopped
down
and
ate
the
corn.
The
other
birds
saw
he
was
safe
and
came
to
eat
too.
Soon,
there
was
a
big
group
of
them.
“I
felt
sad
because
I
wasn’t
a
good
Scarecrow.
The
old
crow
said,
‘If
you
had
brains,
you
would
be
as
good
as
any
man.
Brains
are
the
best
thing
to
have,
for
crows
or
men.’
“After
the
crows
left,
I
thought
about
this.
I
decided
to
get
some
brains.
You
came
and
took
me
off
the
stake.
From
what
you
say,
I
think
the
Great
Oz
will
give
me
brains
when
we
reach
the
Emerald
City.”
