El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 6, Página 2
Just
then,
a
loud
roar
came
from
the
forest,
and
a
big
Lion
jumped
onto
the
road.
He
hit
the
Scarecrow,
who
spun
to
the
road’s
edge,
then
struck
the
Tin
Woodman.
But
the
Lion
was
surprised
because
he
could
not
hurt
the
tin,
though
the
Woodman
fell
and
lay
still.
Toto,
seeing
the
enemy,
ran
barking
at
the
Lion.
The
Lion
opened
his
mouth
to
bite
Toto,
but
Dorothy
ran
forward
and
hit
the
Lion
on
the
nose,
shouting:
“Don’t
bite
Toto!
You
should
be
ashamed,
a
big
beast
biting
a
little
dog!”
“I
didn’t
bite
him,”
the
Lion
said,
rubbing
his
nose
with
his
paw.
“No,
but
you
tried,”
Dorothy
replied.
“You
are
just
a
big
coward.”
“I
know,”
said
the
Lion
sadly.
“I’ve
always
known.
But
what
can
I
do?”
