El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 8, Página 3
The
raft
floated
down
the
stream,
and
the
poor
Scarecrow
was
left
far
behind.
Then
the
Lion
said:
“We
must
do
something
to
save
us.
I
think
I
can
swim
to
the
shore
and
pull
the
raft
if
you
hold
onto
my
tail.”
So
he
jumped
into
the
water,
and
the
Tin
Woodman
held
his
tail
tightly.
The
Lion
began
to
swim
with
all
his
strength
toward
the
shore.
It
was
hard
work,
even
though
he
was
big,
but
soon
they
were
out
of
the
current.
Then
Dorothy
took
the
Tin
Woodman’s
long
pole
and
helped
push
the
raft
to
the
land.
They
were
all
very
tired
when
they
reached
the
shore
and
stepped
onto
the
pretty
green
grass.
They
also
knew
the
stream
had
carried
them
far
past
the
yellow
brick
road
that
led
to
the
Emerald
City.
“What
shall
we
do
now?”
asked
the
Tin
Woodman,
as
the
Lion
lay
down
on
the
grass
to
dry
in
the
sun.
“We
must
get
back
to
the
road
somehow,”
said
Dorothy.
