Queen

listen

you?"
"Oh,
yes;
there
are
thousands,"
she
replied.
"Then
ask
them
all
to
come
here
quickly
and
bring
a
long
piece
of
string."
The
Queen
told
the
mice
with
her
to
go
and
get
all
her
people.
They
ran
away
as
fast
as
they
could.
"Now,"
said
the
Scarecrow
to
the
Tin
Woodman,
"you
must
go
to
those
trees
by
the
river
and
make
a
cart
to
carry
the
Lion."
So
the
Woodman
went
to
the
trees
and
started
working.
He
soon
made
a
cart
from
the
tree
branches,
cutting
away
the
leaves.
He
put
it
together
with
wooden
pegs
and
made
four
wheels
from
big
pieces
of
tree
trunk.
He
worked
so
fast
and
well
that
when
the
mice
started
arriving,
the
cart
was
ready.
