El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 10, Página 7
"I
don't
know,"
Dorothy
replied
sadly,
"but
it's
my
home,
and
I'm
sure
it's
somewhere."
"Very
likely.
Well,
Oz
can
do
anything,
so
I
suppose
he
will
find
Kansas
for
you.
But
first,
you
must
see
him,
and
that's
hard.
The
Great
Wizard
doesn't
like
to
see
anyone
and
usually
gets
his
way.
But
what
do
YOU
want?"
he
asked
Toto.
Toto
just
wagged
his
tail;
he
couldn't
speak.
The
woman
called
them
for
supper,
so
they
gathered
around
the
table.
Dorothy
ate
delicious
porridge,
scrambled
eggs,
and
nice
white
bread,
enjoying
her
meal.
The
Lion
ate
some
porridge
but
didn't
like
it,
saying
oats
were
for
horses,
not
lions.
The
Scarecrow
and
the
Tin
Woodman
didn't
eat.
Toto
ate
a
little
of
everything
and
was
glad
for
a
good
meal.
The
woman
gave
Dorothy
a
bed,
and
Toto
lay
beside
her.
The
Lion
guarded
her
door
so
she
wouldn't
be
disturbed.
The
Scarecrow
and
the
Tin
Woodman
stood
in
a
corner
all
night,
staying
quiet,
though
they
couldn't
sleep.
The
next
morning,
as
soon
as
the
sun
rose,
they
started
on
their
way
and
soon
saw
a
beautiful
green
glow
in
the
sky
ahead.
"That
must
be
the
Emerald
City,"
said
Dorothy.
