El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 11, Página 3
The
soldier
blew
a
green
whistle,
and
a
young
girl
in
a
pretty
green
silk
gown
entered.
She
had
lovely
green
hair
and
green
eyes,
and
she
bowed
to
Dorothy,
saying,
“Follow
me,
and
I
will
show
you
your
room.”
Dorothy
said
goodbye
to
her
friends,
except
for
Toto,
and
followed
the
green
girl
through
seven
passages
and
up
three
flights
of
stairs
to
a
room
at
the
front
of
the
Palace.
It
was
the
sweetest
little
room,
with
a
soft
bed
with
green
silk
sheets
and
a
green
velvet
cover.
In
the
middle
of
the
room
was
a
tiny
fountain
spraying
green
perfume
into
the
air,
falling
back
into
a
beautifully
carved
green
marble
basin.
Beautiful
green
flowers
stood
in
the
windows,
and
there
was
a
shelf
with
little
green
books.
When
Dorothy
opened
them,
she
found
funny
green
pictures
that
made
her
laugh.
In
a
wardrobe
were
many
green
dresses
made
of
silk,
satin,
and
velvet,
all
fitting
Dorothy
perfectly.
“Make
yourself
at
home,”
said
the
green
girl,
“and
if
you
need
anything,
ring
the
bell.
Oz
will
call
for
you
tomorrow
morning.”
She
left
Dorothy
and
went
back
to
the
others,
leading
them
to
their
rooms.
Each
found
a
pleasant
part
of
the
Palace.
The
Scarecrow
stood
still
in
his
room,
as
he
did
not
need
rest
or
sleep
and
watched
a
spider
spin
its
web.
The
Tin
Woodman
lay
on
his
bed
out
of
habit,
moving
his
joints
to
keep
them
working.
The
Lion,
who
preferred
the
forest,
curled
up
on
his
bed
and
quickly
fell
asleep.
The
next
morning,
after
breakfast,
the
green
maiden
came
to
get
Dorothy.
She
dressed
Dorothy
in
a
pretty
gown
of
green
satin.
Dorothy
put
on
a
green
silk
apron
and
tied
a
green
ribbon
around
Toto’s
neck.
They
headed
to
the
Throne
Room
of
the
Great
Oz.
