El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 11, Página 4
First,
they
entered
a
large
hall
with
many
court
ladies
and
gentlemen,
all
in
rich
costumes.
They
had
nothing
to
do
but
talk,
yet
they
came
every
morning
to
wait
outside
the
Throne
Room,
even
though
they
never
saw
Oz.
As
Dorothy
entered,
they
looked
at
her
curiously,
and
one
whispered:
“Are
you
really
going
to
see
Oz
the
Terrible?”
“Of
course,”
Dorothy
replied,
“if
he
will
see
me.”
“Oh,
he
will
see
you,”
said
the
soldier
who
took
her
message
to
the
Wizard,
“though
he
doesn’t
like
people
asking
to
see
him.
At
first,
he
was
angry
and
said
I
should
send
you
back.
But
when
I
told
him
about
your
silver
shoes,
he
was
very
interested.
Finally,
I
mentioned
the
mark
on
your
forehead,
and
he
decided
to
see
you.”
Just
then,
a
bell
rang,
and
the
green
girl
told
Dorothy,
“That
is
the
signal.
You
must
go
into
the
Throne
Room
alone.”
She
opened
a
small
door,
and
Dorothy
walked
through,
finding
herself
in
a
wonderful
place.
It
was
a
big,
round
room
with
a
high
arched
roof,
and
the
walls,
ceiling,
and
floor
were
covered
with
large
emeralds.
In
the
center
of
the
roof
was
a
bright
light,
like
the
sun,
making
the
emeralds
sparkle.
