El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 15, Página 11
So
they
sat
down
and
listened
as
he
told
his
tale.
"I
was
born
in
Omaha—"
"Why,
that's
not
very
far
from
Kansas!"
cried
Dorothy.
"No,
but
it’s
farther
from
here,"
he
said,
shaking
his
head
sadly.
"When
I
grew
up,
I
became
a
ventriloquist,
and
I
was
well
trained
by
a
great
master.
I
can
imitate
any
bird
or
animal."
He
mewed
like
a
kitten,
and
Toto
pricked
up
his
ears,
looking
around.
"After
some
time,"
continued
Oz,
"I
got
tired
of
that
and
became
a
balloonist."
"What
is
that?"
asked
Dorothy.
"A
man
who
goes
up
in
a
balloon
on
circus
day
to
draw
a
crowd
and
get
them
to
pay
to
see
the
circus,"
he
explained.
