El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 17, Página 4
"But
we
need
a
basket
to
ride
in,"
he
said.
So
he
sent
the
soldier
with
the
green
whiskers
to
get
a
big
clothes
basket,
which
he
tied
with
many
ropes
to
the
bottom
of
the
balloon.
When
everything
was
ready,
Oz
told
his
people
he
was
going
to
visit
a
great
Wizard
in
the
clouds.
The
news
spread
quickly
through
the
city,
and
everyone
came
to
see
the
amazing
sight.
Oz
had
the
balloon
carried
out
in
front
of
the
Palace,
and
people
looked
at
it
with
curiosity.
The
Tin
Woodman
had
chopped
a
big
pile
of
wood
and
made
a
fire.
Oz
held
the
bottom
of
the
balloon
over
the
fire
so
the
hot
air
would
fill
the
silken
bag.
Slowly,
the
balloon
filled
up
and
rose
into
the
air
until
the
basket
just
touched
the
ground.
Then
Oz
got
into
the
basket
and
said
loudly
to
everyone:
"I
am
now
going
away
to
visit.
While
I'm
gone,
the
Scarecrow
will
rule
over
you.
Obey
him
as
you
would
obey
me."
The
balloon
was
pulling
hard
at
the
rope
holding
it
to
the
ground
because
the
hot
air
inside
made
it
lighter
than
the
air
outside,
so
it
wanted
to
rise
into
the
sky.
