El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 21, Página 1
After
climbing
down
from
the
china
wall,
the
travelers
found
themselves
in
a
difficult
country.
It
was
full
of
bogs
and
marshes
and
covered
with
tall,
thick
grass.
Walking
was
hard
because
the
grass
hid
muddy
holes.
But
by
being
careful,
they
managed
to
reach
solid
ground.
Here,
the
land
seemed
even
wilder,
and
after
a
long,
tiring
walk
through
the
bushes,
they
entered
another
forest.
The
trees
here
were
bigger
and
older
than
any
they
had
ever
seen.
“This
forest
is
perfectly
delightful,”
said
the
Lion,
looking
around
happily.
“I've
never
seen
a
more
beautiful
place.”
“It
seems
gloomy,”
said
the
Scarecrow.
“Not
at
all,”
replied
the
Lion.
“I
would
love
to
live
here
forever.
See
how
soft
the
dried
leaves
are
under
your
feet
and
how
rich
and
green
the
moss
is
on
these
old
trees.
Surely
no
wild
beast
could
wish
for
a
nicer
home.”
“Maybe
there
are
wild
beasts
in
the
forest
now,”
said
Dorothy.
“I
suppose
there
are,”
said
the
Lion,
“but
I
don't
see
any
around.”
