El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 5, Página 1
When
Dorothy
woke
up,
the
sun
was
shining
through
the
trees.
Toto
had
been
out
for
a
while,
chasing
birds
and
squirrels.
She
sat
up
and
looked
around.
The
Scarecrow
was
still
standing
patiently
in
his
corner,
waiting
for
her.
"We
must
go
and
look
for
water,"
she
said
to
him.
"Why
do
you
need
water?"
he
asked.
"To
wash
my
face
after
the
dusty
road,
and
to
drink,
so
the
dry
bread
won't
stick
in
my
throat."
"It
must
be
hard
to
be
made
of
flesh,"
said
the
Scarecrow
thoughtfully,
"because
you
need
to
sleep,
eat,
and
drink.
But
you
have
brains,
and
it's
worth
the
trouble
to
think
properly."
They
left
the
cottage
and
walked
through
the
trees
until
they
found
a
small
spring
of
clear
water.
Dorothy
drank,
washed,
and
ate
her
breakfast.
She
noticed
there
wasn't
much
bread
left
in
the
basket
and
was
glad
the
Scarecrow
didn't
need
to
eat,
as
there
was
barely
enough
for
her
and
Toto
for
the
day.
