El Maravilloso Mago de Oz
Capítulo 5, Página 2
After
finishing
her
meal,
Dorothy
was
about
to
return
to
the
yellow
brick
road
when
she
heard
a
deep
groan
nearby.
"What
was
that?"
she
asked
nervously.
"I
don't
know,"
replied
the
Scarecrow,
"but
we
can
go
and
see."
Another
groan
reached
their
ears,
and
it
seemed
to
come
from
behind
them.
They
turned
and
walked
a
few
steps
through
the
forest.
Dorothy
saw
something
shining
in
a
ray
of
sunshine
between
the
trees.
She
ran
to
it
and
stopped
with
a
small
cry
of
surprise.
One
of
the
big
trees
had
been
partly
chopped
through.
Next
to
it
stood
a
man
made
entirely
of
tin,
holding
an
axe.
His
head,
arms,
and
legs
were
joined
to
his
body,
but
he
stood
perfectly
still,
as
if
he
couldn't
move
at
all.
Dorothy
looked
at
him
in
amazement,
and
so
did
the
Scarecrow.
Toto
barked
and
tried
to
bite
the
tin
legs,
which
hurt
his
teeth.
