Poemas de Emily Dickinson, Tres Series, Completo
Colección 6, Poema 16
XVI.
What
if
I
say
I
won't
wait?
What
if
I
break
the
fleshly
gate
And
pass,
free,
to
you?
What
if
I
shed
this
mortal
shell,
See
where
it
hurt
me,
—
that's
enough,
—
And
wade
in
liberty?
They
can't
take
us
anymore,
—
Prisons
may
call,
and
guns
plead;
Meaningless
now,
to
me,
As
laughter
was
an
hour
ago,
Or
lace,
or
a
traveling
show,
Or
who
died
yesterday!
