Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 3, Página 2
Then
he
ran
out.
He
saw
Sid
on
the
stairs.
Tom
threw
dirt
at
Sid.
Sid
was
angry.
Aunt
Polly
was
surprised.
Tom
ran
away.
He
jumped
over
the
fence.
He
was
happy.
He
got
back
at
Sid.
Tom
ran
around
the
block.
He
went
to
the
village
square.
Boys
were
there
for
a
game.
Tom
was
a
leader.
Joe
Harper
was
the
other
leader.
They
did
not
fight.
They
gave
orders.
Tom’s
team
won.
They
counted
the
boys
and
exchanged
"prisoners."
They
planned
the
next
game.
Then
Tom
went
home
alone.
He
passed
Jeff
Thatcher’s
house.
He
saw
a
new
girl.
She
was
pretty
with
blue
eyes
and
yellow
hair.
She
wore
a
white
dress.
Tom
forgot
Amy
Lawrence.
He
loved
the
new
girl.
He
had
loved
Amy
for
a
long
time.
But
now
he
loved
the
new
girl.
He
watched
the
girl.
She
saw
him.
He
pretended
not
to
see
her.
He
tried
to
show
off.
He
did
silly
things.
Then
he
saw
her
go
inside.
Tom
was
sad.
He
hoped
she
would
stay.
She
stopped
on
the
steps.
Then
she
went
in.
But
she
threw
a
flower
to
him.
Tom
ran
to
the
flower.
He
looked
down
the
street.
He
picked
up
a
straw.
He
balanced
it
on
his
nose.
He
moved
closer
to
the
flower.
Then
he
picked
up
the
flower
with
his
foot.
He
hid
it
in
his
jacket.
He
came
back
to
the
fence.
He
showed
off
again.
But
the
girl
did
not
come
out.
He
hoped
she
saw
him
from
the
window.
Finally,
he
went
home.
His
head
was
full
of
dreams.
At
supper,
Tom
was
happy.
Aunt
Polly
wondered
why.
She
scolded
him
for
throwing
dirt
at
Sid.
He
did
not
care.
He
tried
to
take
sugar.
Aunt
Polly
hit
his
hand.
He
said:
"Aunt,
you
don’t
hit
Sid
when
he
takes
sugar."
