Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 21, Página 3
Next,
a
young
lady
with
dark
hair
and
eyes
came
up.
She
paused,
looked
serious,
and
started
to
read
slowly
and
seriously.
A
VISION
The
night
was
dark
and
stormy.
No
stars
shone
in
the
sky.
The
thunder
was
loud,
and
the
lightning
was
wild.
It
seemed
like
it
did
not
care
about
Franklin's
power.
The
strong
winds
blew
around,
making
the
storm
even
wilder.
At
this
dark
and
lonely
time,
I
wanted
someone
to
be
with
me.
But
instead,
'My
dear
friend,
my
guide,
my
comforter—
My
joy
in
sadness
and
happiness,'
came
to
my
side.
She
moved
like
a
beautiful
dream.
She
was
like
a
queen
of
beauty,
needing
nothing
else.
Her
steps
were
so
soft,
you
could
not
hear
them.
Her
touch
was
magical.
She
would
have
left
without
anyone
noticing
if
not
for
her
touch.
Her
face
looked
sad,
like
ice
on
a
winter
coat.
She
pointed
outside
at
the
storm
and
told
me
to
think
about
the
two
people
there.
This
story
took
ten
pages
and
ended
with
a
strong
message.
It
was
so
good
that
it
won
the
first
prize.
The
mayor
gave
the
prize
and
said
it
was
the
most
"eloquent"
thing
he
had
ever
heard.
He
said
Daniel
Webster
would
be
proud.
Many
stories
used
the
word
"beauteous"
a
lot.
They
talked
about
life
as
"life's
page,"
just
like
usual.
