Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 26, Página 6
"I
know
that.
But
there
wasn't
any
other
place
as
easy
after
that
silly
job.
I
want
to
leave
this
place.
I
wanted
to
yesterday,
but
it
was
no
use
trying
to
leave
with
those
awful
boys
playing
over
there
on
the
hill
in
clear
view."
“Those
"awful
boys"
shook
again
at
this
remark
and
thought
how
lucky
they
were
to
remember
it
was
Friday
and
wait
a
day.
They
wished
they
had
waited
a
year.
The
two
men

me.
I'll
take
a
chance
and
come
to
this
town
once
more,
for
a
look.
We'll
do
that
'dangerous'
job
after
I've
checked
things
out
and
think
it's
safe.
Then
we'll
go
to
Texas!
We'll
run
away
together!"
This
was
fine
for
them.
Both
men
started
yawning,
and
Injun
Joe
said:
"I'm
so
sleepy!
It's
your
turn
to
watch."
He
lay
down
in
the
weeds
and
soon
began
to
snore.
His
partner
nudged
him
a
few
times,
and
he
quieted
down.
Soon
the
watcher
began
to
nod
off;
his
head
dropped
lower
and
lower,
and
both
men
started
snoring.
The
boys
took
a
deep,
thankful
breath.
Tom
whispered:
