Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 29, Página 6
“Huckleberry
Finn—quick,
let
me
in!”
“Huckleberry
Finn,
indeed!
That
name
doesn’t
open
many
doors,
I
think!
But
let
him
in,
boys,
and
let’s
see
what’s
wrong.”
“Please
don’t
ever
tell
I
told
you,”
Huck
said
when
he
got
inside.
“Please
don’t—I’d
be
killed
for
sure—but
the
widow’s
been
nice
to
me
sometimes,
and
I
want
to
tell—I
will
tell
if
you
promise
you
won’t
say
it
was
me.”
“By
George,
he
has
something
to
tell,
or
he
wouldn’t
act
like
this!”
said
the
old
man.
“Out
with
it,
and
nobody
here’ll
tell,
boy.”
Three
minutes
later,
the
old
man
and
his
sons,
with
weapons,
were
up
the
hill,
entering
the
path
quietly.
Huck
didn’t
go
with
them.
He
hid
behind
a
big
rock
and
listened.
There
was
a
long,
worried
silence,
then
suddenly
there
was
gunfire
and
a
cry.
Huck
didn’t
wait
to
find
out
more.
He
ran
down
the
hill
as
fast
as
he
could.
