Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer
Capítulo 26, Página 6
"I
know
that.
But
there
was
no
other
place
as
convenient
after
that
stupid
job.
I
wanted
to
leave
this
place
yesterday,
but
it
was
no
use
trying
to
move
with
those
boys
playing
over
there
on
the
hill
in
full
view."
“Those
"boys"
shook
again
at
this
comment,
thinking
how
lucky
they
were
to
remember
it
was
Friday
and
decide
to
wait
a
day.
They
wished
they
had
waited
a
year.
The
two

to
check
things
out.
We'll
do
that
'dangerous'
job
after
I've
looked
around
and
think
it's
safe.
Then
we'll
head
to
Texas!
We'll
go
together!"
This
was
agreeable.
Both
men
soon
started
yawning,
and
Injun
Joe
said:
"I'm
really
tired!
It's
your
turn
to
watch."
He
lay
down
in
the
weeds
and
soon
began
to
snore.
His
partner
nudged
him
a
couple
of
times,
and
he
quieted
down.
Soon,
the
watcher
started
nodding
off;
his
head
drooped
lower
and
lower,
and
both
men
began
to
snore.
The
boys
took
a
deep,
thankful
breath.
Tom
whispered:
